YouTube Sponsorship Rate Calculator
Updated September 2026Work out what to charge a brand for a sponsored integration, then price the usage rights, whitelisting, and exclusivity they will ask for on top. Rates are built from your average views per video, your niche, and the format.
Your account
Micro tier, 10K to 50KSets your tier label. It does not change the price.
Your last 10 long-form uploads, once each has had time to settle. Brands price on this number, not on subscribers.
Our rates are built from channels averaging 15,000 to 250,000 views a video. Channels below that are often paid product plus a fee, or a flat minimum, instead.
Engagement does not change this price. Brands read it as proof the views are real, so if yours is above the 3.06% YouTube median, say so and quote the top of your range.
General / Other is priced at $12 to $25 per 1,000 views, using the Lifestyle rate. Finance is the top at $35 to $70, entertainment and gaming the floor at $8 to $18.
The deal
An integration is the base rate: your views priced at the Lifestyle rate.
Fine-tuningDeals per month, for the monthly figure
This only drives the monthly tile. Your per video rate does not change with volume, and discounting for volume is a choice you make in the negotiation, not a rate.

Above the median
3.8% of views against a 3.06% YouTube median. It does not move the price; use it in the pitch.
At 8,000 average views per video in general / other, an integration on YouTube prices at $96 to $200, around $144. That is the video alone. Usage rights, whitelisting, and exclusivity are priced separately below.
What the brand is really asking for
Tap a lever to price it inThese three get folded into "the package" for free more often than anything else in creator deals. Each one is a separate license and each one has a price.
Usage rights, organic
They re-share, screenshot, or repost your content in their own feeds. A license, not a favour.
+$108
+75% of base
Whitelisting and paid amplification
They run paid ads through your handle. This is the one creators give away most often, and it is the most expensive thing on the list.
+$216
+150% of base
Exclusivity window
You agree not to promote a competitor. Every day of it is a deal you cannot take, so it is priced by length.
Not priced
No window agreed
Nothing is priced in yet, so this matches the base rate. If the brief mentions ads, re-posting, or competitors, one of these three applies.
Move the number
Views are the slow lever. These are the fast ones, priced at your current settings.
Sell a dedicated video instead
Dedicated Video prices at 2x against integration at 1x on the same views, $144 more per video. It takes a whole video to make, so quote it as one.
Charge for whitelisting
If they want to run ads through your handle, that is $216 on this deal. Most creators hand it over inside the base fee because nobody names it on the call.

Am I charging enough
Log scale, same settings, average views variedPrice rises in step with views, so the rows sit evenly on a log scale.
Every row uses your niche and format. Only average views change, because on YouTube views set the price and subscribers do not.
Negotiation tipsWhat to say when they push back
Sell the niche, not the size
Bring audience demographics and any conversion data you have. A 20,000 subscriber channel with buyers beats 200,000 browsers.
Never quote a single number
Quote a range and let them pick. A single number is a ceiling you set for yourself, and the first figure said out loud anchors the whole negotiation.
Offer packages, not discounts
A small discount for three or more videos earns you more total revenue and gets the brand a better per video rate. Discounting a single video just lowers your rate for next time.
Charge for the long tail
A sponsored integration keeps earning views for months or years after upload, long after a feed post has scrolled away. Price the evergreen exposure, and ask for a rate review if the video outperforms your average by a wide margin.
How this is calculated
A YouTube sponsorship here is priced on your average views per video, not your subscriber count: views ÷ 1,000 × your niche's rate per 1,000 views × the format. General / Other is $12 to $25 per 1,000 views. Subscribers set the tier label and nothing else.
An integration is 1x. A dedicated video is 2x and a pre-roll 0.6x, both on the same views. A Short is 0.4x the per-view rate, applied to your average views per Short.
Engagement does not change the number. We could not find published rate data that puts a figure on how much it moves a YouTube price, so it is not a multiplier here. Use it in the conversation: a high rate is a reason to quote the top of your range.
Niches without a YouTube rate of their own borrow the closest one: fashion uses beauty, sports uses entertainment, and general, animals, arts and design use lifestyle.
Add-ons are quoted as a percentage of the base rate because that is how brands ask for them. Usage rights at 75% and whitelisting at 150% are our own estimates and an opening position, not a measured average.

YouTube vs Other Platforms
YouTube is priced differently from Instagram or TikTok. Brands pay per view, because a channel's recent views are the best guide to how many people will watch the next video, and YouTube itself says a subscriber count is not necessarily the size of a channel's current active audience. A video also keeps collecting views for months or years after upload. On the other platforms, sponsorships are usually quoted per follower.
Content Types Explained
Integration (1x): a 60 to 90 second sponsored segment within your regular video, your views priced at your niche's rate. Dedicated Video (2x): an entire video focused on the brand or product, 2x an integration on the same views. Short (0.4x): a sponsored Short, 0.4x the per-view rate, priced on your average views per Short. Pre-Roll (0.6x): a brief sponsor read at the start of a video, 0.6x an integration on the same views.
