Founder & Editor

Editorial Process
Every calculator, benchmark, and article on CreatiCalc goes through the same review process before it reaches you. Our goal is to produce creator economy data that you can actually rely on when pricing a sponsorship, projecting earnings, or benchmarking against your peers.
How content is produced
CreatiCalc uses AI tools in the research and drafting process to scale content production, alongside traditional research and analysis. Every piece of content is then reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by Bill Bergquist before publication. We believe in transparency: AI assistance is a tool, not a replacement for editorial judgment. The person whose name is on the byline is the person responsible for every claim, number, and recommendation on the page.
How benchmarks are verified
Our CPM, RPM, engagement rate, and sponsorship rate benchmarks are aggregated from multiple primary sources: official platform documentation from YouTube, Meta, and TikTok; advertising industry reports from Statista, eMarketer, and Influencer Marketing Hub; and publicly disclosed creator earnings. We never rely on a single source in isolation — every number you see is a consensus range across at least three independent inputs. Source documentation is linked directly on the relevant calculator pages and in our full methodology.
Update cadence
Benchmark data is reviewed on a twice-yearly schedule (January and July) and updated out-of-cycle when major platform changes occur — for example, a change to YouTube’s Shorts monetization model or a revenue-share adjustment. Every calculator page shows a visible “Updated” date reflecting the last time the data was verified.
Corrections policy
If you find an error in any calculator, benchmark, or article, email hello@creaticalc.com. Verified corrections are applied within 48 hours, and the page’s “Updated” date reflects the change. Significant corrections to methodology or data are noted directly on the affected page.

How CreatiCalc Makes Money
Every calculator and benchmark on CreatiCalc is free, with no sign-up. Some pages recommend third-party creator tools, and some of those recommendations use affiliate links: if you sign up through one, CreatiCalc may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those placements are always labeled as affiliate links where they appear.
The rules we hold ourselves to: recommendations are chosen on merit, never sold; no tool can pay to be listed or to change how it’s described; and affiliate relationships never influence the benchmark data, calculator math, or editorial content anywhere on this site. If a recommended tool stops being something we’d tell a friend to use, it comes down.
